Biography

Bimal Kumar Mishra is presently serving as a Principal at Jagannath Jain College, Jhumritelaiya. He was Professor & Head in the Department of Mathematics at the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra in Ranchi (India) and also served at BITS, Pilani for seven years. After completing his doctoral degree in Mathematics in the year 1997, he subsequently obtained his D Sc degree in the same subject in 2007. He has been actively involved in both teaching and research for almost two decades. His area of interest for research includes mathematical modelling of cyber attacks and defence, non-linear dynamical systems and their stability, and also the study of infectious diseases. He has presented his work through more than hundred research publications in various journals of international repute and conferences.
