Dr. Xing-Gang Yan currently is an Associate Professor in Control Engineering in the University of Kent, United Kingdom. He worked as a Research Fellow/Research Associate in the Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, the University of Hong Kong, China, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He is the member of IEEE and IET and the Fellow of HEA. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Engineering Research and Science & Technology. He was a Lead Guest Editor of a special issue in the Mathematical Problems in Engineering. He serves as a member of the Editorial Board of several engineering journals and TCP member of several international conferences. He has published three books, ve book chapters and over 170 referred papers in the area of Control Engineering. He has successfully supervised three PhD students, and currently, he is the main supervisor of three PhD students. His research subject is Control Theory with Applications in the robot system, automated highway systems, high-speed railway, light control, and multimachine power systems etc.
Dr. Xing-Gang Yan's achievement has provided signi cant impact on control engineering research. His Google Scholar H-Index is 29 across his career and 22 across the last ve years with total citation 3004. His ResearchGate Score is 36.36 with 99:89% Publications and 0:12% Followers.
