• Postdoctoral at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Nebraska Medical Center,
(March 1, 2016- to date). Working on a project entitled “microRNA and Hedgehog inhibitor-based therapy for the treatment of Pancreatic Cancer and Medulloblastoma.
• Postdoctoral at Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska, USA (December 9, 2014, to February 28, 2016). Worked on a project entitled “Role of epigenetic and Sumoylation signaling on cellular homeostasis during oxidative stress and aging with special reference to cell survival molecules, Prdx6 and LEDGF in human lens epithelial cells.”
• Ph.D. in Biochemistry (2009-2014) from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore, INDIA. Title of the Ph.D. thesis: “Molecular
Engineering of the horsegram (Dolichos biflorus) Seed Bowman-Birk Inhibitor: Implications of the disulfide framework on functionality.”
• Project Assistant at Department of Protein Chemistry and Technology, CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore. (August 2006 to June 2009). Worked on the project entitled “Cyclic peptide as proteinase inhibitor: purification, molecular cloning, and expression.”
• Project work for master's programme at the Department of Biophysics, All India Institute of Medical
Sciences, New Delhi, INDIA (January 2006 to April 2006). Worked on “Isolation, Purification, and Crystallization of C-lobe of Bovine Lactoferrin.”
